Second Stop: London

London was EHH.
Meaning cool, but not really THAT fun?

Sorry to offend those of you who like London, but the gist of what I got out of London was: big-city, crowded, traffic, lots of construction going on, and not the mention FREEZING. But on the other end, London had some pretty buildings, lots of clock towers, a beautiful river with the huge bridge, a cool castle, and a nice big park. I think the cold had a lot to do with the fact that we weren't able to enjoy more out of London. The time we did spend outside was trying to stay warm as we would take pictures of the things we liked. Also in order to site-see in London in a cheap manner (as we do everywhere we go... by walking, not taking taxi's or buses) was difficult. Walking from the one important place to the next important place was pretty far distances from eachother.

So my advice to anyone going to London: make sure your wearing comfy shoes and go during a warmer season. Overall we did have fun though, and we finally got to eat two of our favorite places... Papa Johns Pizza and Chipotle. I know, very American of us... but it was the first time we have been in the same city as those places and our mouths watered after finding out they were there. Let me tell you, Papa John's pizza still has my heart and Chipotle will forever be the 2nd best mexican food I'll eat (behind Cafe Rio that is)

One of my favorite pictures ! I thought I captured London so perfectly in this shot.

The Queen of England's palace

going inside often as we could, to get out of the cold and eat some food

train rides...

and a bit of grumpiness due to lack of sleep.
